Our out of the country journey begins!! This is a month overdue already but the memories of my Singapore and Malaysia trip is still fresh in my mind. So buckle up as I share my third DIY out of the country trip.
Day 0. May 20, 2017
My sister and I decided to book a bus going directly to NAIA to avoid the hassle of transfering from terminal to the airport.
We booked a Joybus 11 AM trip going directly to NAIA 3. The one way ticket cost P730 (non-refundable). Baguio to NAIA 3. The funny thing though is that we arrived late that’s why the bus left us and we took a chance at their 1PM trip. I guess its our lucky day because we got a chance to ride the 1PM bus or else we’ll be late at our departure time which is 10:20 (22:00).
We arrived at NAIA 3 at around 6PM (18:00) and immediately searched for the shuttle headed to NAIA 1. You can ask airport staff for directions. The shuttle goes directly to NAIA 1, 2 & 4. The fare cost P20. The ride was smooth and no traffic.
The airline we booked was Tigerair and it was my first time to book the airline. The check-in area went smoothly (wish they have a web check-in though) but the embassy kind of sucks because they are too slow and the line was really really long when we arrived there. Some passengers were pissed already because they flight were already on last call.
My tigerair experience was good. No delays on our flight and all the staff are kind and approaching. Our trip from Baguio to Manila made us hungry so we bought a meal at the plane. The food cost around P200.
Welcome to Singapore! 🇸🇬
