It Ends With Us

It Ends With Us is another masterpiece written by Colleen Hoover. I am a fan of her works since I started reading November 9. I like her books because the plot twist is always unpredictable and not common. I like how she surprises her reader.

It Ends With Us is a story about a girl named Lily who is dedicated with her life despite of all the struggles she had experienced. She  started a flower business in boston and there is were her met Ryle a neurosurgeon whom she felt a spark with.

I don’t want to dwell much about the story because it will spoil those who haven’t read it yet. I will just focus on the moral of the book.

This book shows self love and how to survive abuse especially in relationships. I think this book is brave because it highlights how women can overcome abuse and step out on a relationship that is no longer healthy.

“Sometimes the one who loves you is the one who hurts you the most.”

Love is such a precious thing but love should not involve abuse. Everyone has its own ways of coping up with a relationship and I think that this is a good read to everyone. To open their eyes that this is actually happening. There are women or men who are being abused by their partners.

This is also a realization that a love too good should not come with a price of abuse. Everyone should realize that they deserve to be loved and not be abused. This should also serve as a reminder that it is never too late to step out of an abusive relationship.

If you know someone who is experiencing this please help them or at least talk to them. You may not changed their mind but they need your guidance and concern. They need all the help they could get. They deserve it.
